TW List of Women in Tech - #internationalwomensday

Yolande Poirier

Hi All,

For International Women’s Day, I shared a Twitter list of 215 tech women, active in Java and the Java ecosystem. https://twitter.com/java/status/971780571905933312

If there is anyone you want to add to this list,  send me an email, comment on the tweet, DM at @ypoirier or @java

Hopefully, this list will help all of us find new speakers for JUG meetings and conferences!

Happy Women’s Day!

Yolande
@Java @ypoirier

Awesome list, Yolande.

Proud to have re-tweeted this.

Folks: IMHO, this is beyond worthy of retweeting, of supporting, of helping.

I've passed this along to Jenni Plummer, an HJUG member who is putting together a panel of female architects for the Grace Hopper conference in Houston this September.  Let me know if you or someone you know would like to participate and I'd be happy to pass it along to her.  You'll need to be there at the conference.

https://ghc.anitab.org/ is the conference website if you're interested and / or would like to spread the news about it.

Best regards,
Jim

Do you have Jenni’s TW handle?

I will spread the word about Grace Hopper conference.  I was on a panel couple of years ago at GH. Most woman attendees had a Master or PHD in a technical field. It is an impressive conference.
